Carpet Area refers to the actual area within the walls of your apartment that you can use - like the living room, bedrooms, kitchen, and bathrooms. It does not include the thickness of the inner walls, balcony, or any shared areas such as the staircase, lift lobby, or corridors.
Example:
If a flat has a carpet area of 900 sq. ft., that means you can actually walk and place your furniture in 900 sq. ft. of space.
Super Built-Up Area, also known as saleable area, includes the carpet area plus the proportionate share of common areas like the lift, lobby, staircase, clubhouse, security room, and other amenities.
Example:
If the super built-up area is 1200 sq. ft. and the carpet area is 900 sq. ft., the additional 300 sq. ft. covers your share of common facilities.
